The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU has directed its members to return to the classrooms immediately.
This follows the suspension of the three months old strike embarked upon by the university lectures.
National President of the union, Professor Biodun Ogunyemi gave the directive at the end of a meeting between the leadership of the union and government representatives led by Labour and Employment Minister, Chris Ngige in Abuja.
Universities have been advised to resume academic activities immediately.
