An impeachment proceeding has been launched against Murtala Nyako, Adamawa State governor and his deputy, Bala Ngilari by the state’s House of Assembly.
Adamawa State House of Assembly members on Wednesdaydirected the Clerk of the House to serve Nyako and Ngilari with impeachment notices.
Nyako and his deputy can be said to have courted troubles when they both moved from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to the All Progressives Congress, APC; an act that pitched them against the lawmakers who are still in PDP.
