Sam Nda-Isaiah, the publisher of Leadership Newspaper is dead. Report of his death said he took ill after attending a board meeting on Thursday. He had earlier attended the AGM meeting of the Newspapers Proprietors Association of Nigeria, NPAN on Wednesday in Lagos. Reports at the meeting said he looked healthy. A journalist of note, the deceased worked at the Daily Trust and the Kano state owned Triumph Newspaper. He later set up the Leadership.
Apart from being a media executive, Nda-Isaiah, 58,was a politician. The late journalist was not in politics to cheer others, he attempted to lead from the front. For example, he made efforts to run for the office of president and was one of the people who lost to President Muhammadu Buhari. He contested for the ticket of the All Progressives Congress, APC in 2015.
