As part of activities marking the fourth anniversary of the administration of Kayode Fayemi, outgoing Ekiti State Governor, Abdusalami Abubakar, former Head of State, is to inaugurate five major projects in Ado-Ekiti onWednesday, October 8.
According to a statement issued by Olayinka Oyebode, Fayemi’s Chief Press Secretary, Abubakar would inaugurate the Erinjiyan Water Treatment Plant at Erinjiyan-Ekiti and the administrative building of the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Ado-Ekiti.
Other important projects to be commissioned by the former military head of state include the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, EKSUTH Library, the Works Department and the General Out Patient Department of the teaching hospital.
Abubakar is a former Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces dignified for his roles in leading Nigeria through a successful transition to democratic rule in 1999.
