The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ,Lagos State Council has opened an ELECTION SITUATION ROOM at the Union Secretariat, 9A,Iyalla Street, Alausa,Ikeja.

The Chairman of the Union, Dr. Qasim Akinreti made this statement at an interactive session with some members of the union at the council secretariat in Ikeja.

The Chairman urged all accredited members who will cover the Gubernatorial, State Assembly & Re – run Elections today to display high level of professionalism and follow the ethics of the profession.

He also enjoined members on field work to be security conscious in the course of their duties.

To this end,all Journalists on election coverage in the State are to report any act of impunity against them to the following
