No fewer than 5 people were trapped in an accident involving a trailer and a commercial bus, at Lotto/Pakuro Bus Stop, in Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.
It was a gory scene, as the conductor of the bus was trying to stop the trailer, but the trailer driver was adamant, trying frantically to maneuver between two buses at the bus stop. In the process, the trailer lost control in between the two buses and crashed on the bus on its left side.
It took men of the Julius Berger construction company about 30 minutes to lift the trailer off the bus and rescued many passengers.
Unfortunately, about five people were trapped, including the bus driver and the conductor.
