The Presidential candidate of the People Democratic Party, PDP, has finally addressed President Mohammed Buhari, making a six-point demand.
The demands were made after members of the National Peace Committee, led by a former military leader, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar met with Atiku; his running mate, Peter Obi and other PDP members. The meeting was aimed at persuading the former Vice President to accept the results declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
The demands include unfreezing of opposition politicians’ bank accounts; and accreditation of voters before voting in subsequent polls.
Atiku also demanded that there should be no deployment of military in subsequent election, and that INEC should open it back end server to all participating parties.
