The Nigerian entertainment scene has been thrown into mourning as reports emerge that popular TikTok skitmaker, Mr. Sanku, has died following a ghastly accident along the Oyo-Ibadan expressway.

According to colleagues, Sanku was heading back to Ogbomoso after a shoot in Ilorin when tragedy struck. He was reportedly driving a Lexus ES350 at high speed before losing control, crashing into a canal. Some eyewitnesses, however, claimed the vehicle looked more like an RX350.

Locals at the scene alleged that some commuters and traders were also injured in the accident, while Sanku’s passenger sustained severe injuries, with no official update yet on their condition.

Although Sanku initially survived the crash, he later passed away in the hospital. His close associate, Eregele, confirmed the news, expressing outrage at first responders who filmed the injured skitmaker instead of rushing him to the hospital. He believes Sanku could have survived if help had come earlier.

The news has left fans divided, with some speculating it might be another staged skit. However, Eregele and other colleagues insist that Sanku has indeed passed away, confirming that his remains have been moved to the mortuary.
