President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Friday, June 2, approved the appointment of George Akume as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Femi Gbajabiamila, Speaker, House of Representatives as Chief of Staff and Ibrahim Hadejia, former Deputy Governor of Jigawa State as Deputy Chief of Staff.

This was contained in a statement released by Abiodun Oladunjoye, State House Director of Information.

It said that the announcement was made during a meeting with Progressives Governors Forum (PGF) at the Aso Villa. Akume, a former Governor of Benue State was also the immediate past Minister of Special Duties, George Akume, in the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.
