16-year-old Zulu Uwolloh on Thursday, November 20, formally presented her advocacy group, ‘Teens For Change’ and a book she wrote titled, ‘A Not So Wishy Washy Story.’
Uwolloh said the advocacy group, T4C, is focused on teenagers taking power into their hands to change thesociety.
She added that the inspiration for her book stems from“the need to create awareness about good hygiene habits particularly during this Ebola crisis.”
Speakers at the launching and public presentation includeAjibola Abiola-Ajumobi, a lawyer, who practices at Olaniwun Ajayi and co. andLampe Omoyele, the African Marketing Director of GSK among others.
The event,which was supported with products from Dettol and Ribena, also featured drama, song and poetry performances from students of Chrisland School, Ikeja and the White Dove High School, Lekki, Lagos.
