Election: Buhari Urges Supporters To Be Peaceful

The All Progressives Congress, APC’s presidential candidate, Mohammadu Buhari, has urged all supporters of his party to abstain from violent conducts throughout the elections.

Buhari called for peaceful conduct throughout the elections during his address at the North East Zonal Presidential Campaign Rally in Bauchi State on Tuesday.

“I call on all the APC supporters in the zone to make sure that they remain peaceful on Election Day and refuse any intimidation to cause violence. You should make sure you have your permanent voter cards and vote for those you want to be your leaders,” Buhari said.

The APC’s flag bearer at the presidential polls said he made that call because some people were looking for means to stop the election from holding as planned.

Kashim Shettima, Borno State governor, also lent his voice to Buhari’s campaign. He asked supporters to unite and be peaceful as they come out to vote massively for the APC.
