President Muhammadu Buhari has written a letter to the Senate seeking approval to appoint fifteen advisers.
The letter was read in the Senate on Tuesday by the Senate president, David Mark.
The letter is President Buhari’s first correspondence to the National Assembly since assuming office on Friday.
The appointments would be the second for the new president who only named his spokespersons and chief of protocol on Sunday.
Buhari has however not revealed the names of those he would appoint as advisers or ministers.
