More than 90 minutes after the accreditation process of the 2015 general election was supposed to commence, many polling units have just commenced the accreditation of registered voters in Somolu Local Government Area.

Residents of the area, most of whom expressed satisfaction with the accreditation process, are seen being attended to by the officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

One of those who expressed satisfaction with the process and especially the use of the card reader, is Omobolanle Oluleya, a candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP. Oluleya, vying to become a representative in the Lagos State House of Assembly, said though the card reader is slowing down the pace of accreditation, it would guard against rigging.
