The South African Football Association, SAFA has denounced reports that it offered Stephen Keshi, Coach of the Super Eagles, an appointment as coach of the nation’s football team.
Danny Jordan, SAFA president debunked news making rounds as some media have quoted Keshi as suggesting that he got an offer from SAFA.
“There is no iota of truth in this statement. SAFA has not offered any coach the Bafana Bafana coaching job and we don’t take kindly to such rumour” Jordan said. He added that SAFA has not entered into a discussion with any coach or a representative of any coach after it sacked Gordon Igesund, the erstwhile coach of Bafana Bafana.
