Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on Monday visited Oke Ode in Ifelodun Local Government Area, accompanied by security commanders and top government officials, to reassure residents of his administration’s continuous support and commitment to protecting lives and property.

Addressing community leaders, the Governor emphasized that the state government, in collaboration with the Federal Government and security agencies, is intensifying efforts to eliminate all threats to peace and safety across Kwara. He noted that the visit was part of broader consultations with traditional and community leaders aimed at strengthening trust and coordination in the fight against insecurity.

Governor AbdulRazaq is also scheduled to meet with leaders from Edu and Patigi LGAs later today, where he will brief them on renewed security strategies being deployed in their areas.

His visit comes amid ongoing combined security operations across the state, which authorities say are targeted at restoring peace and ensuring that citizens can live and work without fear.

The Governor reaffirmed his administration’s determination to stand by communities during these challenging times, urging residents to remain calm, cooperate with security agencies, and continue to support government initiatives for lasting peace.
