The Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, has announced a new Emir for the Rano Emirate Council.
On Tuesday evening via Twitter the state government said the governor appointed Kabiru Muhammad Inuwa as the new Emir of Rano
Alhaji Kabiru Muhd Inuwa has emerged Inuwa before his appointment as the Emir was the former District head of Kibiya.
He succeeds the late Emir Tafida Abubakar Ila, who died on Saturday in Kano at the age of 74, after battling with an undisclosed ailment.
