President Goodluck Jonathan has sent his condolences to the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN over the death of Geoffrey Numbere, founder and General Overseer of Greater Evangelism World Crusade Ministries International who was a former Chairman of CAN in the South-South Zone.
In a statement released on Sunday by Reuben Abati, the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, President Jonathan said he received news of the spiritual leader’s death with sadness.
He described Numbere as a leader whose enormous impact on the moral and social development of millions of Nigerians and non-Nigerians will be greatly missed.
The President who condoles the deceased’s wife, children, relatives as well as members of the Greater Evangelism World Crusade Church on behalf of his family and the Federal Government, also commiserated with the leadership of the CAN and the entire people of Rivers State on the loss.
He prayed that the Almighty God will receive Numbere’s soul and grant him eternal rest.Follow Us on Social Media
