Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido has officially kicked off his highly anticipated “5ive Alive Tour” with a record-breaking sold-out concert at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

The electrifying event, held on October 26, 2025, drew an estimated 30,000 fans, transforming the stadium into a sea of lights, sound, and excitement as Davido delivered a powerful, high-energy set that celebrated both his global hits and latest releases.

The night opened with a spectacular presidential-style welcome, complete with brass bands and a visit to the residence of former Senate President Godswill Akpabio, underscoring the significance of Davido’s choice to begin his nationwide tour in Akwa Ibom.

Adding to the excitement, TikTok influencer Ivana — known for being a vocal Wizkid supporter — surprised fans by opening the show.

Despite initial backlash online, her appearance went smoothly as she performed her set confidently, signaling what many fans are calling a “new era of unity in Afrobeats.”

The Uyo kickoff marks the beginning of what promises to be one of the biggest music tours of 2025, as Davido continues to cement his legacy as one of Africa’s most electrifying performers.

The 5ive Alive Tour is expected to continue across major Nigerian cities and select international venues, with fans eagerly anticipating the next stop on Davido’s musical journey.
