President Muhammadu Buhari has relieved two members of his cabinet of their positions, just as he has moved two others to other offices. In a statement released by Femi Adesina, special adviser on media and publicity to the president, Mohammed Nanono, erstwhile minister of agriculture and rural development and Sale Mamman, his counterpart in the ministry of power, are the two Ministers that have been sacked.
Mohammed Abubakar leaves the ministry of environment to replace Nanono, while Abubakar Aliyu, until Wednesday morning the minister of state , works and housing, will now take over at the ministry of power.
The statement said substantive nominations will be made later to fill the vacancies arising from the exercise.
