Sanwo-Olu lifts Lagos lockdown for Easter Celebration
by Ifidon JanetThe Executive Governor of Lagos State, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has suspended the lockdown placed on the state because of the coronavirus pandemic. Sanwo-Olu did that in response to appeals by Christian and Muslim faithful to enable them carry out their spiritual responsibilities for the period of Easter. The temporary lift of the ban will be from Friday through Sunday, this week. The Governor has hereby given the directive that Lagosian should be allowed movement between the hours of 8 am-to-4 am on Friday to enable residents of the state to shop for Easter celebration.
