The palace of The Ooni of Ife has thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for appointing Oba Enitan Ogunwusi as the chancellor of the University of Nigeria Nnsukka, UNN.  A press release signed by Moses Olafare, director of media and public affairs in the palace states that “the development would further enable the monarch to build more bridges of friendship especially across the Niger.”
It says Oba Ogunwusi will use his influence and connections to promote unity and harmonious working relationship with the institution. According to the statement, the Ooni’s appointment will enhance peaceful coexistence in the country.
