Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Victor Ikpe, popularly known as Keivo, has been disqualified from the “Show Ya Sef” reality show following a physical altercation with fellow housemate Tram, just days before the grand finale.

The disqualification was confirmed by Big Brother on Tuesday, September 29, after the dispute over a black shirt escalated into a physical confrontation inside the house.

The incident began on Monday night when Tram confronted Keivo over a black shirt he believed belonged to him. Tram reportedly said he had brought several similar shirts into the Big Brother house and recognised the one Keivo was wearing.

Keivo denied taking Tram’s shirt, insisting that he owned a similar one. He became increasingly upset over what he considered an accusation that he had stolen another housemate’s property.

The argument intensified as both men exchanged heated words. The confrontation eventually became physical, with reports stating that Keivo threw the first punch before the two housemates engaged in a fight.

Other housemates rushed to separate them, but the situation remained tense.

Big Brother then ordered all the housemates to freeze before deploying three Ninjas to intervene and restore order. The Ninjas eventually restrained Keivo and escorted him out of the house through the storeroom.

The dramatic intervention quickly became a major talking point among BBNaija viewers, particularly after footage from the incident appeared to show one of the Ninjas staggering while attempting to control the situation.

The moment sparked a wave of humorous reactions and memes across social media, with fans turning the unexpected Ninja moment into one of the most widely discussed aspects of the controversy.

However, the viral reactions were followed by a serious disciplinary decision from Big Brother.

On Tuesday, Big Brother summoned the remaining housemates to the lounge and showed them footage of the confrontation before addressing the incident.

Big Brother identified Keivo as the perpetrator of the violent act and announced his immediate disqualification from the competition.

“Keivo, as the perpetrator, has been removed from the house. He is therefore disqualified from the house,” Big Brother announced, according to reports from PUNCH and the official BBNaija platform.

The decision brought Keivo’s BBNaija journey to an abrupt end just days before the October 4 finale.

His removal had already been signalled earlier when his name disappeared from the official voting platform, prompting speculation among viewers before Big Brother formally confirmed the disqualification.

Before his exit, Keivo became emotional while discussing the confrontation. He explained that the dispute was not simply about the shirt but about being accused of taking something that did not belong to him.

Keivo maintained that he did not want his reputation to be defined by the incident or to leave the show with viewers believing he was a thief.

Big Brother subsequently warned the remaining housemates against resorting to violence, stressing that violence was not an acceptable response to disagreements inside the house.

The incident has generated extensive discussion among BBNaija fans, with viewers debating the circumstances surrounding the confrontation, Keivo’s reaction and the decision to disqualify him.

The fight also adds another dramatic twist to the final week of the “Show Ya Sef” season, particularly because Keivo had reached the final stage of the competition before his disqualification.

The Season 11 grand finale is scheduled for Sunday, October 4, 2026, when the winner will be crowned and awarded the reported ₦160 million grand prize.

Keivo’s disqualification means he will no longer compete for the grand prize, leaving the remaining finalists to battle it out in the final days of the season.

What began as an argument over a black shirt has therefore become one of the defining controversies of the final week of BBNaija Season 11 — while the unexpected Ninja intervention has simultaneously become a viral moment of its own.
