Muhammadu Buhari has been sworn in as the fifth elected Nigerian President in Abuja, Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory, FCT on Friday.

The PDP, which also lost control of both arms of the national assembly and some states of the federation, has promised to bounce back and take over leadership of the country.
In his inauguration speech on Friday, May 29, 72-year-old Buhari said as “President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, I will discharge my duties to the best of my ability and in accordance with the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the law.”
