Several people were shot on Saturday while a commercial bus was burnt down during the legislative elections in shortly before accreditation began.
A group of young men had come in the bus and stopped at the centre of the town where people were gathered for accreditation. The young men jumped out of the bus and started shooting indiscriminately.
This scared off people who scampered to safety. But shortly afterwards a local group mobilized and countered them, making the invaders to run away.
The bus in which they came was set ablaze by the local group, which then took over the streets singing war songs and daring their opponents to come out.
A convoy of soldiers and policemen arrived the scene some 30 minutes afterwards. Voting however did not continue afterwards in the community.
