the newly appointed Technical Adviser of the Super Eagles, has reportedly rejected his appointment by the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF. The Frenchman was announced yesterday as the new helmsman of the Super Eagles of Nigeria but is believed by knowledgeable sources to have rejected the employment due to the inability of the NFF to meet his demands which include provision of accommodation. This much was revealed by Herve Penot, a reporter at L’ Euipe, who communicated via his twitter handle @hpenot_lequipe saying “Paul Le Guen rejects Nigeria. Frenchman insists the country’s FA (NFF) yet to meet terms & conditions to be the coach.” This will come as a blow to the NFF that is eager to employ a new coach for the Super Eagles to kickstart preparations in earnest for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign which begins in October.
