At a time when many have expressed doubts about the possibility of P-Square, Nigeria’s successful musical group reuniting, Peter, one of the brothers, says that possibility is not foreclosed. Recent media accounts suggest that the duo-Peter and Paul Okoye, are no more musically a pair, and have gone their separate ways. It is not the first time this would happen though but previous crack in their relationship was later patched up.
On September 25th, 2017 Peter was reported as sending a message to their legal representative, Festus Keyamo (SAN) seeking the dissolution of the group and was said to have signed a solo contract with Empire Records, a San Francisco, United States of America company.
But in an interview with Vibe magazine, Peter says there is room for reconciliation if only his brother would give him some respect.
According to him, “people will never understand but we have lost that respect. Like I said in the open letter, we will work in future, but when we come back, it will be from respect.”
