Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat, one of the 13 aspirants vying for the governorship flag of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Lagos State has expressed confidence in the ongoing party primaries holding at Onikan stadium, Lagos.
Hamzat who arrived venue of the voting at exactly 12:30pm told TELL that he is confident of emerging as the party’s candidate in today’s election.
“If I don’t have confidence in the process, I won’t be here. That’s the essence. I am sure at the end of the day I will triumph. He added that, “You can see what is going on today is a demonstration of democracy.”
Asked what is his perception of the rumor making the rounds that the powers-that-be in the party already have an anointed candidate, Hamzat said “noting like rumor. Everybody is here, the voting will be done and the winner announced here today.”
Meanwhile, as at the time of filling this report, accreditation of the delegates was still ongoing.
